Exploring Your Universe Is Going Virtual!
EYU will be a virtual, interactive event this year to give student groups at UCLA the opportunity to bring demonstrations and interactive laboratories to students at home. We know a virtual event may be challenging for some booths so please contact us if you would like to brainstorm with the EYU organizers. See more information here.
Thanks to our generous donors and volunteers.
Exploring Your Universe (EYU) draws in thousands of children, parents, and friends from the Los Angeles community to our campus every year on the first Sunday in November. Organized by UCLA graduate students and run by volunteers, this science fair has been a tradition to provide a day of free science education to all. For ten years, EYU has provided fun, hands-on experiments and presentations to curious minds and young future scientists alike.
EYU 2020 will be held virtually due to COVID-19, but will still do our best to bring a day of fun, interactive science to you and continue the tradition of EYU. Stay tuned for this year’s events and please email us for any questions, comments, or suggestions.
Exploring Your Universe is made possible by the Division of Physical Sciences, the Mani L. Bhaumik Institute for Theoretical Physics, the Department of Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences, the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the Department of Mathematics, and the Department of Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology.
