This workshop brings together mathematicians and scientists working on the micro and nanoscale to discuss ways in which collaborations between these groups can further scientific research and discovery. The meeting is sponsored by the Math + X program of the Simons Foundation and the California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA. Speakers include experts in imaging science including nanoscale imaging, self-assembly and agent- based dynamics, computational modeling, microfluidics, and coating flows.
