The current membership of the CNSI consists of over 250 UCLA faculty and researchers from the fields of life sciences, physical sciences, medicine, dentistry, public health, and engineering. Supported by the diverse research of our membership, CNSI acts as a crossroads within the UCLA community for scientific discovery and team science. Membership is open to all faculty with interests in nanotechnology research.

CNSI is the hub for cross disciplinary science, nanotechnology education, seminars, interactive discussion forums, and fostering the formation of team science collaborative research efforts.

As a hub for nanotechnology research and cross-disciplinary collaboration, CNSI provides opportunities to exchange ideas through seminars, interactive forums, and team science initiatives while fostering partnerships that can lead to meaningful scientific discoveries. Members may also access selected CNSI meeting spaces for small-group gatherings, explore opportunities for co-sponsorship and potential fee waivers for qualifying large events, and receive expert guidance from grants specialists on collaborative contracts, funding opportunities, and research proposal development and management. Open to all faculty with interests in nanotechnology, CNSI membership offers a valuable platform for building connections, advancing research, and transforming innovative ideas into collaborative impact.
